2005 Legislative Manual Available on Internet

PIERRE -- Secretary of State Chris Nelson announced today that the 2005 Legislative Manual is available to the public on the Internet. "It is my pleasure to provide, for the first time, the entire contents of this volume through the Internet." Nelson said.

The Legislative Manual is a comprehensive reference source on state government that is published every two years according to South Dakota Codified Law. It contains information on elected state officials, judges, legislators, local and state government administration, a chronology of South Dakota history and election statistics.

Internet users can link to the Legislative Manual, also known as the "blue book", by visiting www.sdsos.gov/bluebook. In addition, hard cover copies of the volume are available at every public library in South Dakota.
